Sponsored links and nofollow: what you are really buying

Every link on ClaimPixels is a paid placement and is labelled that way. Here is what that means, and what a block is good for.
What the label means
Search engines ask websites to mark paid links with the rel attribute sponsored, or nofollow. We use both on every link on the wall, on profile pages and in the directory. The label tells search engines that the link is an advertisement and not an editorial recommendation.
What you are not buying
A block is not a way to push your site up the search rankings, and we do not sell it as one. Search engines treat these labels as hints, and a paid link should not be expected to pass ranking credit.
What you are buying
- A visible, permanent placement on a public wall, with a link people can click.
- Your own profile page with your logo, a short description and your link, which can be found in search and in our directory.
- A fixed early price: the price you pay is the lowest it will ever be.
- A click count on your profile page, so you can see how much attention your block receives.
Why we are straight about it
Selling links as ranking tricks is a quick way to disappoint buyers. We would rather tell you exactly what a block does, and let you decide whether it is worth the price.
