Million Dollar Homepage alternatives: what exists today
October 23, 2026 · 5 min read · by Furvexo LLC
The original Million Dollar Homepage cannot sell you a pixel any more, because it sold out in 2006. If you want the same idea today, here is what exists. We run ClaimPixels, so treat our own entry with the caution you would give any seller, and check everything below on the sites themselves.
The original
The Million Dollar Homepage is still online as a historical page. Its pixels sold at $1 each, in 10 by 10 blocks, and all of them are gone. You can look, but you cannot buy.
Milyonluk Piksel (Turkey)
A Turkish edition at milyonlukpiksel.com. When we looked in October 2026 it offered 1,000,000 pixels in 10 by 10 blocks at 100 Turkish lira per block, took card payments through PayTR and offered bank transfer, and was about 8% filled. It is built for a Turkish audience.
billiondollarhomepage.lol
A project built around web3 tools that a third-party review says launched in 2023. Descriptions of its pricing are inconsistent, so check its own site for current terms before you decide.
Self-hosted pixel boards
Several open-source pixel board projects exist on GitHub. The software is free, but you need hosting, a payment setup, moderation, and above all your own audience. They are a good fit if you want to run your own wall rather than buy a spot on one.
ClaimPixels
- Stepped pricing from $0.10 to $2.00 per pixel, rising every 10% of the wall.
- Every image and link reviewed by a person; full refund if rejected.
- A page for each block, a share card, and a public directory.
- Real click and view counts for brands, never invented ones.
- An optional memory category for personal moments, opening after a legal review.
How to compare any of them
- Is the price fixed or does it change as the wall fills?
- How long does a block stay, and what is promised if the site closes?
- Is there human review and a refund policy?
- Are paid links marked rel="sponsored" or nofollow?
- Are traffic and sales claims backed by numbers you can check?
