How to buy pixel advertising space, step by step

Buying a block takes a couple of minutes. Getting it right takes a little thought. Here is the order we would do it in.

1. Decide what the block is for

A launch, a permanent link for your project, or a personal message. The goal decides the size: a symbol needs very little room, a readable logo needs more, a photo needs the most.

2. Pick a shape that matches your image

We crop your image to fit the block, so matching the shape avoids losing parts of it. A wide wordmark suits 150 by 50. A square icon suits 20 by 20 or 30 by 30. A 10 by 10 block is a dot.

3. Choose a free spot

Tap the wall, then use the arrows to resize or move the block. Zoom in for precision. Taken areas cannot be selected, and the price updates as you change the size.

4. Prepare the image

5. Check the preview, then pay

Before paying you see your image at the block's real shape. If it looks unreadable, make the block bigger. Your spot is held for 15 minutes while you pay by card, and the total you see is the total you pay.

6. After you pay

A person reviews the block, usually within 24 hours. If it is approved it goes live and gets its own page. If it cannot be approved you are refunded in full. You also get a private link to follow its status.
